Blu, the red kangaroo came into care after being orphaned as a joey.
He remained with his carer for 12 months and was a calm and affectionate boy throughout that time.
As the photo shows, he is now a mature and strong kangaroo who now lives on a station in Victoria Plains.
The red kangaroo is the largest marsupial and the largest Australian mammal, with some males standing at two meters tall and weighing around 85kg.
Males are bigger than females and are very powerfully built.
